One of Teaching Personnel’s client schools is currently seeking qualified Teaching Assistants from October 2018 who can work on an on-call and temporary basis, providing 1:1 support for pupils aged 3 - 11 with physical disabilities.

The school is a large, popular mainstream primary school, which works closely in federation with its SEN partner school. Roles will vary between year groups and sites, depending on need.

Successful applicants will hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher. You should have recent experience supporting young people with disabilities. Ideally, you will be Moving and Handling trained and able to demonstrate an enthusiastic and proactive attitude. Any additional training will be highly regarded.

All temporary roles come with a view to a permanent position.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
