SALARY & BENEFITS: £20,000 to £25,000 dependent on skills and experience 

WORKING HOURS: Full Time – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Part Time and flexible working hours considered for the right candidate)

The company has a new exciting opportunity for a Administration Assistant / Team Administrator (full or part-time) within the Private Client department 

THE ROLE: The main duties for the Administration Assistant / Team Administrator will be to assist with the provision of legal services as part of one of our private client teams. All members of the team have direct involvement with clients and support each other as well as other departments of the firm.

Typical daily duties for the Administration Assistant / Team Administrator role include :-

- Work principally with a Private Client Partner and his team for a number of high net worth
private clients of varying circumstances
- Assist in the management and administration of a portfolio of clients
- Liaise directly with clients by correspondence or telephone
- Prepare reports on clients’ financial affairs
- Arrange payment of items on behalf of clients, manage client accounts and prepare cash flow reports through Excel
- Provide client information to third parties for anti-money laundering purposes
- Assist with preparation of fees
- Undertake file reviews for the team and handle significant work flow under supervision
- Assisting other departments within the Edinburgh practice with aspects of this role on an ad-hoc basis

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Administration Assistant / Team Administrator's role must be a highly organised individual who has experience in a similar role / environment. You must have excellent numeracy skills and have advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You must be able to prioritise your workload and demonstrate comprehensive and dependable skills across the required range of work. You must also manage time effectively to maximise the profitability of your work. You should be able to develop client relationship and demonstrate exceptional client care skills. Candidates must have excellent IT skills across all Microsoft packages; be self-motivated and have an enthusiastic 'can do' attitude. 

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Administration Assistant / Team Administrators role :-

- Highly organised individual with excellent numeracy skills
- Previous experience in an admin support position within a professional services environment is essential 
- Must be IT literate, technically proficient in Microsoft products, particularly Excel
- Must be able to prioritise workload effectively and work to within agreed timescales
- Must demonstrate good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Will be self-motivated, diligent and results-focused
- Must live in or be able to commute to Edinburgh
