Digital Adoption Consultant – (People Change, Stakeholder Engagement, Agile, Training)Nothing in this day and age moves as fast as technology. We have gone from sending letters, telegrams, and carrier pigeons, to the President of the free world dictating his manifesto via Twitter. And yes I use the word ‘dictate’ deliberately. The sudden technology boom can only be described as meteoric and one not far dissimilar to that of Harry Maguire going from drinking pints watching the 2012 Euros with his mates, to playing in the 2018 World Cup Semi Final while choruses of “It’s coming home!” resonate around the stadium like Pavarotti in the Albert Hall. While this role requires absolutely nothing to do with Harry Maguire, football or Luciano Pavarotti, it does have something to do with technology. You will be using your understanding of how different technologies work and their potential to help in large scale transformation programmes which update a workforce’s technological capabilities. You will be the liaison between the technology transformation team and the stakeholders involved. You will help them to adapt, learn, and understand the reason behind the changes that are taking place. This will involve regular meetings and training sessions in order to make sure that no one is left behind and everyone gets on-board with the changes that are being put into place. You will have to have excellent personable skills and be able to empathise fully with everyone, not taking a stock approach to any problem.
