The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, we are looking to recruit an Inspector/Wirer in the assembly department. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, flexible with an ability to read and interpret drawings and carry out self-inspection related tasks
The successful candidate will be required to inspect/audit manufactured product against both company and customer specifications.
The role also requires the candidate to assemble and wire electronic control cubicles systems and sub assemblies to drawings, wiring schedules and circuit diagrams in a timely and professional manner. Refurbish returned equipment and Install and modify equipment on customer`s premises.
You will ensure all relevant documentation i.e. MITP/QA1/QA2, test results and completed prior to release of equipment and record all shortages.
You will have completed an apprenticeship or city & guilds equivalent and hold a CQI Certificate in Quality Management Level 3. You will also have an understanding of ISO 9000/1 and ISO 14001 procedures.
