- Highly competitive salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum
- Incentive scheme along with the chance to increase your salary dependent on performance.
- 5-day 40-hour shift basis to cover the core business hours of 08:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday plus 08:00 to16:00 Saturday
- 21 days + bank holidays, increasing incrementally
- Pension contribution (5%)
- Death in Service 4 x salary

Lending Advisor Responsibilities:

As our Lending Advisor, you will be delivering an exceptional customer experience by providing excellent personal service whilst using analytical skills to assess each customer's individual circumstances and documentation to assess affordability and suitability. You will also be:

- Guiding customers through applications and explaining the way the application processes.
- Proactively contacting customers to discuss applications via telephone and email.
- Carry out affordability assessments with customers to ensure all loans are affordable.
- Responding positively, empathetically and promptly to varied incoming customer contact.
- Assess customer suitability for a loan application using information and/or documentation provided by the customer and information gained through 3rd parties.
- Liaise with the customer to request additional information / documentation as needed.
- Cross referencing the documentation provided by the customer and ensuring it is correct.
- Completion of a detailed income & expenditure analysis to demonstrate affordability.
- Completion of recommendation documentation, including a summary justification of decision.
- Obtaining case sign-off and, where necessary, referring back to the customer for additional information as required.
- Using skills and knowledge to ask open questions and, if necessary, challenge information gained, to assure quality of the case.
- Undertaking security checks and vehicle checks using various in-house and external search tools.
- Confirming all information provided with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail - transferring information onto the system.
- Acting with sensitivity and recognition of customers in potentially vulnerable positions - mindful of the longevity of the required loan solution.
- Processing pay outs.
- Managing multiple cases simultaneously, effectively prioritising workload in line with customer / company objectives


The ideal Lending Advisor:

To be successful in this position, you must have a good standard of Secondary education and holding at least a C Grade in Maths and English and higher-level education.
