Do you have experience in a Teaching Assistant role and you want to take on a new challenge?

Or perhaps you’re a graduate seeking placement within a school?

We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants in Bournemouth. If you have experience with children and young people aged between 4 and 16 or any SEN experience then we are keen to hear from you.

1 We will get regular work to suit you and your plans, whether you are free one day a week or after full time work in a school, we can find the right role for you. When joining Teaching Personnel you gain access to your own online diary, so you can block out any mornings, afternoons or entire days that you don’t want to work.
2 Teaching Personnel have a constant stream of teaching roles both long and short term with demand often outweighing the availability of our staff. There are always opportunities to progress onto a permanent contact with a school if you are the right fit.
3 We negotiate our pay rates with schools to get you the best possible pay rate which is discussed with you on your ‘welcome interview’. This is dependent on experience and qualifications but we can pay up to 60 for teaching assistants and up to 120 for cover supervisors!
4 Teaching Personnel have a range of CPD courses which you can access when registering. Our range of courses not only help you develop your teaching skills but also open up so many more opportunities for you!
5 We enjoy working alongside our schools and candidates to help you get the best work for the best rate. We are a helpful and friendly team who are committed to finding you the best work placements.

All staff are required to have a DBS update certificate, 2 references and an initial face-to-face meeting in branch, but we can take care of all of this for you- apply below to avoid disappointment!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
