English Teacher required in November in a Manchester secondary school.

Do you have a PGCE or similar in secondary English? Are you experienced in teaching English across key stage 3 and GCSE?

Required initially for a full academic year to cover maternity is a qualified English teacher for this high achieving Manchester secondary school. You will be joining a well resourced department and will work alongside a team of other full time members of staff and will be given full support, subject specific CPD opportunities and a friendly teaching environment.

The school is a large mainstream secondary school with academy status with over 1000 pupils on roll. Through inspirational learning and teaching, the schools aims to maximise opportunity and realise the potential for all, by providing an extensive education of the highest quality, within a caring, supportive and safe environment.

To be considered for this English teaching role you will need to be/have:

*QTS or NQT status with a specialism in English

*Experience teaching English across KS3/4

*A passion for teaching your subject and achieving results
