Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Fuel and Waste Quality Officer to join our team in Beddington This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Role

The role of Fuel and Waste Quality Officer is a new position for the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensure that waste supplied to our ERF facilities and landfill sites (where applicable) is of acceptable quality and meets the requirements of the input specifications, environmental permits and any other specified input requirements. On a daily basis this will involve:

- Visiting customer premises to ensure compliance with the ERF fuel specification, reporting non-conformances and production of inspection reports.
- The Fuel Quality Officer may be required to visit customer premises to obtain samples and assess suitability of material for landfill disposal and Landfill Tax banding.
- This will include the collection of trommel fine samples from customer site and subsequent dispatch to accredited laboratory for testing.
- Liaison with Contract Managers & Administration Staff, Customers, ERF & Landfill staff with regards to fuel and waste quality.


The Ideal Fuel and Waste Quality Officer:

- Will have the ability to recognise different types of waste streams and types.
- Have a good knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
- Be computer literate
- Have good communication skills
- Be motivated & self-driven.
- Mathematics and English O level
- Driving Licence
