KS2 Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant:

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role you must have the following:

* Previous school, education or tutoring experience
* Good behaviour management
* Fdn Degree in Teaching and Learning or similar qualification would be desired, yet not essential

Forming meaningful relationships with others and engaging with both pupils and other staff members are vital ingredients to make this teaching assistant role work. The school want to see that you have the potential to build trust with the students and engage them within activities that will support and nurture their learning.

This thriving primary are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support the learning of children in their KS2 classes (years 3-6, aged 7-11). The TA will work with individuals or small groups of children, helping with their education, enabling their access to learning and assisting the class teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
