Due to an upcoming planned absence, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted graded ‘GOOD’ Primary school in the Longsight area of Manchester (M12). This is a full time SEN Teaching Assistant role which will start immediately and will continue up until the end of the academic year.

Overview of the Role-

* Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant
* Supporting pupils whose have a range of special educational needs on a 1-to-1 and small group basis within class and in small groups
* Work with children across KS1 and KS2 with continued support from the schools SENCO
* School located in Longsight, Manchester, with excellent accessibility to the surrounding areas.

Teaching Personnel have just been approached by a reputable Primary school to recruit for an SEN Teaching Assistant. Due to the nature of the absence the school are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant on a supply basis initially. The primary purpose of this role is to support pupils who have SEN in classes across both Key Stages.

Our partner Primary school is larger than average. There are an above-average proportion of pupils from minority ethnic heritages but the proportion with English as an additional language is below average. It is located within the Longsight area of Manchester and has great public transport routes offering easy access to surrounding areas. There are also direct tram links to the school from Manchester city centre.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
