The Role

The successful Claims handler will handle technical and complex Third Party injury cases, and will have experience of working within an Legal/Insurance environment handling RTA/EL/PL third party injury claims and experience of claims handling with an "enabling" case management system.
You will have a good understanding of Personal Injury pre-action protocol and claims procedures, products and services and have an understanding of damages awards research tools.
You will gather and accurately analyse information in order to make the best business decision and follow agreed processes, policies and procedures.
You will take a commercial attitude to deliver the optimum savings and time to settle and comply with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
You will have experience working within agreed authority levels and demonstrate a commercial attitude showing ability to deliver the optimum savings and time to settle, and have proven ability making decisions on legal liability, assessment of damages.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and a team player with limited direct supervision, and who has great communication skills.
