We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Youth Worker to work in an establish Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in South Yorkshire. The position is to start as soon as possible and you will be required to work during term time until the end of the academic year with the potential to become a permanent role.

The school has pupils that are of a vulnerable and sometimes challenging nature. You will work closely with other members of staff to ensure that the pupils have access to education in a safe and engaging environment.

You could be working on a 1:1 basis or with small groups depending on the skills and training you already hold.

Ideally you will have already completed Team Teach training or be willing to go on the next course.

To be considered for the role candidates must undergo an enhanced DBS check (if not already in possession of a Child Workforce DBS registered on the online update service) and be able to provide details of two references prior to registration.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
