Teaching Personnel is looking for 1:1 Learning Support Assistant with ASD experience for a school in Twickenham to start after the October half term.

About the ASD Learning Support Assistant position:

* Starts ASAP on a long term basis.
* Child is a KS2 student, with PRE levels and a language delay.
* Child requires an LSA with patience and understanding, to help get them working at National Curriculum Levels.
* Experience working with ASD Children is required.

The Ideal ASD Learning Support Assistant will:

* Display patience, understanding and commitment.
* A drive for achievement and pupil development and engagement.
* Show patience and understanding towards challenging behaviour.
* Show the ability to maintain class participation.
* Have a strong background with SEN.

The ASD Learning Support Assistant must:

* Have proven experience working with ASD students.
* Must hold a valid DBS certificate, that is registered with the Update Service, or be willing to complete a new one.
* Hold the right to live and work in the UK.
* Teaching Assistant qualification would be advantage.
* Degree level qualified.
* Be able to provide two professional references covering the last six years of employment.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
