We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated lead support workers to join the teams at our residential and supported living services in Sutton, Surrey. These services  provide support for adults with learning disabilities, associated health needs and a range of abilities and interests.

Could this be you?

Your duties will be varied and no two days will be the same.  You'll be providing support for day-to-day living, such as social activities, sports and hobbies, employment, holidays etc along with support with general household duties such as cooking, cleaning and money management.  In some services, you may be required to undertake personal care.

Our services operate 24/7, so you will work in shifts (as allocated by your manager).  This means you may need to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays.  You may also be required to undertake sleep-in shifts on a rota basis.

Our lead support workers will be expected to lead shifts and support the manager/deputy accordingly.

Ideal candidateOur Lead Support Workers share our vision to ensure that ‘every moment has potential’ for the people we support to learn new skills and to achieve their goals.

Basic numeracy and literacy skills as well as good English are a must.

An NVQ/Diploma L2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is also required, along with significant experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.

Above all you need to be kind, caring and ready to work as a team to ensure that our services are comfortable, happy, fulfilling and safe places to live.
