I can assure you, you wouldn’t be disappointed after exploring this one further.We’re looking for a contract - Automation Engineer (JIRA/Zephyr/Java/WebSphere/Selenium) to join the expanding team in my multinational clients’ Dublin offices.Working with some of the UK & Irelands most prominent and influential businesses across but not limited to: FS, Defence & Retail sectors. TheContract - Automation Engineer (JIRA/Zephyr/Java/WebSphere/Selenium) will be creating and maintaining test scripts using JIRA/Zephyr, and test data, in line with product functionality.You’ll also be responsible for:Working within an AGILE Scrum team environment and bringing test practice expertise and a strong quality focused ethos in to the Sprint delivery cycles.Executing functional and non-functional (manual and automated) tests of web-based J2EE applications.Installing and configuring test environments using a WebSphere, or similar, Application Server set up.Creating and maintaining automated test scripts/tools using Selenium based technologies.Preparing and maintaining test plans for use on automated testing tools.Raising defects and working with developers to ensure efficient resolution.Providing feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements.Being pro-active in helping to improve the testing process.Testing of high volume transactional systems. To be able do this, you’ll need:Experience using/knowledge of structured programming languagesExperience of unit/system/performance/integration testingExperience with Selenium or similar test automation tool kits.Experience with working within AGILE team structures and working within an establish test automation framework.2:1 (or equivalent) degree in a technical discipline such as Software Engineering or computer science.
