My client can offer you just that. Based on a client site in Peterborough, this successful and growing Managed Service Provider is looking for a 3rd Line Engineer to join their support team. You will be working closely with both the 1st and 2nd Line Engineers to provide support up to 3rd Line to their external clients - based onsite.

As the 3rd Line Engineer, you will be responsible for dealing with high priority support queries and incidents escalated from the 2nd Line team, providing specialist support across a range of technologies including Windows Server, AD, Exchange, Virtualisation and Citrix. As you are onsite, you will be expected to prioritise your workloads and be able to work with the rest of the helpdesk and management teams remotely.

You will have previous experience working in a similar role, and ideally for an MSP / IT Consultancy, with the ability to work closely with external clients.

As the 3rd Line Engineer you will have a mixture of the following skills:
• Windows Server (up to 2016), including Active Directory and Group Policies
• VMware / Hyper-V virtualisation technologies
• Exchange / O365
• Good understanding of networking including Firewalls, Switches / Routers, vLANs / LAN / WAN
• Citrix (XenApp, XenDesktop, Presentation Server)

This 3rd Line Support Engineer position is looking to start ASAP, will be based in Peterborough, and will be paying from �30,000 - �35,000, depending upon background and experience.

To be considered for this role, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
