Supply teachers needed for Tameside Secondary schools to cover their absent teachers and permanent staff. Due to an increased amount of staff sickness and upcoming course cover there is an increased need for short term day to day supply teachers who can become local and reliable supply teachers for our partner schools.

This is an excellent opportunity to continue working as a teacher but on a more flexible basis with a reduced workload of planning and marking. You will be working across different departments covering multiple subjects and teaching students across KS3 and KS4. Working as a short term supply teacher provides the opportunity to work in a number of different schools providing a varied and exiting teaching experience.

Teaching Personnel currently work with eight secondary schools supporting their day to day, short and medium term supply staffing so you will have plenty of opportunities. Our partner schools range from traditional mixed comprehensives, single sex schools, academies and colleges.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
