Banking Technology Consultant – (Finastra, Temenos, Microservices, Management Consulting, Stakeholder Engagement)Wolf of Wall Street. The Big Short. Whether you’re Jordan Belfort defrauding investors of millions on the stock market or Dr Michael Burry gambling billions against the housing market of the USA, all of this would be impossible without technology. If world revolves around money, then money revolves around technology. Without easy to use core banking systems, there would be no feasible way for banks to ever operate on the scale they do currently as paper slips getting put into a ledger can only get you so far, but when you can execute multi-billion dollar deals quicker than you can say ‘Quaaludes’ then the sky is the limit. This role does not require you to be an expert coder capable of creating new systems, but instead being able to identify weaknesses with clients current as-is situation, and make educated and informed decisions on which systems would better improve their functions. You will have to have a broad and yet deep understanding of the core banking technologies and when they may be necessary. It will be up to you to translate the complex technicalities of the systems into simple, digestible ‘real-world’ consequences for all levels of stakeholder. This will require excellent communication skills both verbally and written, alongside excellent understanding of banking systems whether this be commercial, retail or wholesale banking. If this seems like a role that would interest you then read on to the criteria required.Requirements:Excellent communication and personal abilitiesProven experience within a major banking or consulting organisationSuccessful FS technology delivery experience – adoption or business change perspectiveKnowledge of service technologies (e.g. API’s, XML, JSON, microservices etc.)Experience of delivering Finastra and/or TemenosFor further information or to register your interest, please call Ed Wilson 020 7780 6700 or send across you CV to Ed.Wilson@ansonmccade.comType:                     PermanentLocation:             LondonSalary:                  £45,000 - £65,000 + Excellent benefits packageContact:               Ed WilsonTelephone:        020 7780 6700Email:                   Ed.Wilson@ansonmccade.comReference:         *AMC*EWI/FSA1998
