Here at Teaching Personnel I have just started to work with a number of Secondary school across the Pontefract and Wakefield area. My client schools have a demand for Cover Supervisors on a daily basis to help assist the hard work within the school. This would be on a day to day basis or weeks at a time making it ideal work for graduates and or people wanting flexible work.

The role of a cover supervisor is to make sure that the pre-planned work which has been left by the previous teacher is delivered in a confident and timely manner. Making sure all pupils are accounted for and on task. This is a very rewarding role as it allows you to understand the classroom environment and decide on your style of teaching. Whether you want to gain more paid experience before starting Teacher training or you want to earn a little extra cash. This could be the ideal role for you!

The role of a cover supervisor:

* Deliver pre-planned work
* Flexible to cover across a range of subjects
* Confident to manage challenging behaviour at front of class
* The ability to follow instructions and make sure pupils are on task

We get a lot of different schools asking for cover supervisors and find that enthusiastic graduates receive great feedback or individuals from a similar background such as sports coaching. Working with Teaching Personnel opens up many different doors and offers exclusive benefits including a unlimited teacher referral scheme, access to university standard CPD courses, competitive rates of pay and your own specialised personal consultant who works tirelessly to find your perfect role.

If this all sounds good to you, make sure you apply to this advert as soon as possible or call Tom Cullen at the Leeds Bradford Secondary branch to find out more information. I look forward to taking your call!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
