The team of around 60 craftsmen and engineers create not only some of the most beautiful and acclaimed classic car restorations in the world, but also some of the fastest, most competitive historic racing cars. Its global network of showrooms showcase an intricate attention-to-detail and a commitment to craftsmanship, established over the years since the company was founded.

As part of their continued growth, they have a requirement for a Classic Car Interior Trimmers based at their Engineering site in Essex. You will be reporting in to the Body Shop Manager on a daily basis to ensure vehicle interiors are finished to the highest standards

Key Responsibilities:

.To upholster, sew, repair and re-trim on any vehicle interior parts to an impeccable finish so fit for the job/level required
. Work closely with other various teams including paint shop
. Keep up cleanliness of the trimming shop
. Check work and others to keep quality in line with old and new standards going forward.
. To grow, learn and master the trade.

Experience Required:

. Must have experience in a vehicle workshop environment ideally within a Classic car / Restoration environment
. Other industries considered including aircraft / marine / furniture
. Experience of upholstering / trimming interior components including dash pads, seats, carpets, door cards and headliners
. Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
. Sewing machining skills for hand stitched components as well embroidered finishes
. Experience working with various fabrics and materials used within vehicle interior
. Experience of dying various fabric and materials.
. Focuses on customer needs and satisfaction; sets high standards for quality and quantity; monitors and maintains quality and productivity; works in a systematic, methodical and orderly way, consistently achieves project goals.
. Maintains a positive outlook at work, working productively in a pressurised environment.

. Initiates and generates activity and introduces changes into work processes.
