Do you have a passion for improving the lives of vulnerable young people? This is a psychology focused behaviour support charity which supports vulnerable children and young people engage with their education through a variety of academic and therapeutic interventions. This role will require you to efficiently and confidently design and deliver bespoke interventions to facilitate positive change in the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in Greater West London. Your role will require you to lead team members in creating, developing and managing interventions. You will receive training and supervision to support you throughout.

You will receive training in the psychological aspects of the role and will receive supervision on a monthly basis. You will have experience of working with highly challenging young people and have confidence and passion to deliver interventions to make a difference in their lives.

The role is as rewarding and exciting as it is demanding. No two days will be the same, and no young person we work with leaves unchanged.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and deliver 1:1 intervention for children, young people, and families
* Support colleagues in delivering interventions
* Work in schools across the borough and the homes/communities of the families you support
* Oversee assessment of young people's needs and design SMART targets for the intervention
* Work closely with other professionals supporting the young person
* Represent One-Eighty at multi-professional meetings
* Write high quality, reflective weekly reports and risk assessments

Requirements of the role:

* Essential Criteria Desirable Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject e.g., psychology or similar (social work, sociology, education, youth work, nursing)
* Previous experience of attending multi-professional meetings/multi-professional working
* Experience of leading others in the workplace Very good knowledge of existing behaviour support programmes and services Experience of working with vulnerable young people/families
* Knowledge of the curriculum and how it might be adapted to individual children
* Have recent experience working in emotionally charged environments with occasionally aggressive young people
* Experience of providing direct support to parents/carers
* An ability to effectively engage and connect with teachers, students, and families to ensure positive outcomes
* Demonstrated ability to think and write reflectively in order to improve practice and support reflectiveness in others
* Experience of adapting resources or techniques to meet the needs of children and young people
* Ability to evidence an understanding of the need to safeguard children and young people including adhering to policies and procedures
* Previous experience of completing risk assessments and/or writing high-quality reports
* Competent use of MS Office Suite and strong recording skills
* A Full UK driving licence and access to a car, able to acquire business insurance to allow you to transport young people
