This company is one of the leading Tier 1 Automotive Powertrain specialist within the development of Powertrain Systems with Internal Combustion Engines as well as instrumentation and test systems.

As part of their continued growth they seek to find a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team in Worcestershire on a permanent basis.

As Technical Sales Engineer you will need to understand in detail the technical aspect of the systems portfolio for Business Units P (Powertrain) & N (Racing and Electrification). To support and present these to clients as well as internally. To prepare the most appropriate technical solution for clients’ needs or request.

Skills Required:
• Candidates must have Automotive, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background is essential
• Relevant Degree or above is essential
• Computer literate (MS Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
• Strong numerical skills
• A team player and willing to accept responsibility within the role
• Commitment, flexibility and self-motivation
• Full UK valid driving license
• Ability to travel internationally as required
• Produce technical solutions and system schematic drawings for Business Units P (Powertrain) & N (Racing and Electrification) which are required to support the bidding process
• Prepare Handover Information for the Order Fulfilment organisation for successful quotes
• Develop and maintain a level of technical expertise within the company systems and products
• Create quotations and to make presentations to support the sales process, using enterprise-wide tools such as Salesforce.
• Develop and maintain regular harmonious relations with colleagues throughout the group and with company’s potential, past and present customers
• Comply with all Quality Assurance and Environmental Protection procedures pertinent to the proposed solution
• Work proactively to find ways by which the process and products can be improved.
• Travel within the client sites and customer sites as is reasonably required to achieve the targets set for the role
• Carry out any other duties as reasonably required commensurate with the nature of the job and level of responsibility.
