SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working with a primary schools throughout Dorset which are SEN specialists that are currently looking for staff to start ASAP. The schools cater from 50 pupils to 210 pupils aged 3-19, with a comprehensive range of special educational needs. In addition, many pupils may also have other needs alongside this such as;

* Speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) including pupils with Autism and Asperger’s
* Cognition and learning needs covering a wide range of needs, including moderate learning difficulties (MLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD), where children are likely to need support in all areas of the curriculum and associated difficulties with mobility and communication, through to profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), where children are likely to have severe and complex learning difficulties as well as a physical disability or sensory impairment.
* Specific learning difficulties (SpLD) which affect one or more specific aspects of learning. This encompasses a range of conditions such as dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia.
* Social, emotional and mental health needs
* Sensory and/or physical needs

Working as part of a team to maintain a stable, happy and caring environment that puts the health, safety and welfare of the young people first

* Full and Part Time hours available
* �9ph for days - �10ph for nights

Experience working in a school is NOT required, we would also welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in Youth Work, Sports Coaching, Military, Custodial Service and Residential Care.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
