Teaching Personnel are working with our Outstanding client school in Oldham, to source a History teacher that has experience teaching the subject up to KS4 level. This post will be starting in January 2019.

Working as a History teacher at our Outstanding client school you can expect:

* Full time post for at least one term from January 2019
* Likely to be required for the remainder of the academic year and the potential to earn a more progressive role moving into the 2019/20 academic year.
* Pay in line with MPS and UPS (�23,720-�39,406)

* Easily accessible via public transport (close to town centre)
* Teaching History up to GCSE level (Not including Year 11 in this instance)

Our client school is a large 11-18 selective secondary and sixth form in the centre of Oldham. The school is graded by Ofsted as ‘Outstanding’ across all areas. With a Progress 8 score of ‘well above average’ (0.54), it is clear that students make good progress. The school is a short walk from the centre of Oldham, on Egerton Street and is set in an iconic grammar school with state of the art facilities due to recent modernisation and renovations.

As a History teacher at our client school, you should:

* Have QTS
* Experience teaching History through KS3 and KS4
* Have an ability to inspire children
* Prepare high quality, engaging lessons
