Care Assistant - Lisnaskea - Fermanagh - Northern Ireland

Salary: Starting rate £8.10 per hour

The company:

We are looking for enthusiastic Health Care Assistants who have a special interest and commitment to Care. Our client provides supportive accommodation for people with learning disabilities.
They provide a warm supportive environment with spacious en-suite accommodation and are located on the outskirts of Lisnaskea, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.

Their Services includes
Mini-bus for Social Outings, shopping and appointments.
A Sensory Room to improve coping strategies and challenging behavior.
Comprehensive and regular risk assessments.
Access to health care services - GP appointments, Chiropodist, Occupational therapists and nurses, Reflexologist, Yoga, Reiki.

The Role

The candidates must be able to
Assist service users who need help with day to day activities of daily living.
Help promote a homely atmosphere that encourages the service users to be as independent as possible.
Help in the provision of individual and group programs of care.
Participate in involving service users in recreational and social activities both within the home and in the wider community.
Encourage and assist service users to look after their own finances in so far as is possible.
Prepare and serve beverages and meals and help wash up and clear kitchen and dining areas.
Essential Requirements
Experience of working in a residential setting would be advantageous but not essential.
Training will be provided.
Staff will be required to work day & night duty on a rota basis, including weekends
