With profound and multiple learning disabilities, communication and sensory impairments, mobility issues and complex health needs including epilepsy

Aged 18 and over
Package description

Main responsibilitiesThe people we support are at the heart of everything we do - they are wonderful individuals and deserve to be treated with respect, dignity and choice.  Our main priority, therefore, is to find staff with values, behaviours and attitudes to match our own.

Could this be you?

Your duties will be varied and no two days will be the same.  You'll be providing support for day-to-day living, such as social activities, sports and hobbies, employment, holidays etc along with support with general household duties such as cooking, cleaning and money management.  In some services, you may be required to undertake personal care.

As a lead support worker you will be expected to lead shifts and assist with coaching and inducting of new staff to the service.  You will also be required to participate in the on call rota.  You will write daily reports on activities, as well as devising and updating care plans and undertaking risk assessments for the people we support.

Our services operate 24/7, so you will work in shifts (as allocated by your manager).  This means you may need to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays.  You may also be required to undertake sleep-in shifts on a rota basis.

Once you click "Apply", you will be directed to our website and asked to create an account.  This will only take a few seconds and just requires you to give us your name and an email address, and will allow us to contact you regarding the vacancy.  We won't share your details with any agencies or other companies.
