Teaching Personnel are recruiting individuals who are all of the above and more with the aim of going into or maintaining a career in teaching assistant or class supervisory roles.

As a Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for engaging the pupils in their education, this can be in class, out of class and sometimes off site also. Work will be set by the class teacher and you will support the pupil or pupils with their work. You will also be responsible for behaviour management. Some of our 1-1 Teaching Assistants are required to work off-site with the pupils.

Full and Part Time hours available

�9ph, �54 per day, �270 per week

Our schools in Bournemouth are majority for KS3 and up. A handful of our schools in Bournemouth are a Pupil Referral Units in which they catering for Secondary aged pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education. This includes pupils who are temporarily excluded, permanently excluded and pupils with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH). The pupils can display challenging behaviour. Some of them also cater for all SEN categories from Behavioural needs to Learning Difficulties and everything in between. It is a challenging environment to be in to teach and assist, however it is extremely rewarding and class sizes are considerably smaller. Education doesn’t always take place in the class room either, many schools include weekly trips of site to do Fishing, Sports, orienteering and sometimes water sports.
