Experienced RF Engineer - Cambridgeshire

A leading and established technologies design company is currently looking for a number of RF Engineers to work on the advancement of wireless technologies. This company have been responsible for cutting edge technology development of wireless devices within the telecommunications, consumer, scientific and medical devices sectors. The team that you would work in specifically works on wireless RF device & technologies development.

Your main responsibilities will include the delivery complete RF design plans for brand new wireless devices. To be able to successfully be effective in the role as a RF Engineer you would need to have had a number of successful years working in industry. We are open to people who have as little as six months industry experience up to fifteen years plus, it is important to get a mix of experience levels across this company.

The industry experience you will have been involved in would mean you can show your capability in system level design of radio, or other wireless technology, hardware. You will be using simulation and modelling tools such as ADS, CST and Matlab, so ideally you will have experience using these within a commercial environment.

It is expected that you would hold a 1st or 2:1 degree from a leading university along with strong A-Level results. It is not necessary to hold a PhD but it would always be welcome, industry experience working on complex and commercially successful technologies is more important.

This is normally proved by having antidotes of taking apart and putting back together devices from a young age, this has normally led onto you having a practical hobby now.
