Ofsted graded ‘good’ Secondary school wish to appoint a Mathematics teacher to join their department from January 2019 on a full-time basis.

This Maths teaching position is a temporary post with employment for the remainder of the academic year. The successful Maths teacher will be required to teach a complete time table including GCSE classes ensuring that they continue to achieve excellent results at GCSE level.

* Full time Maths teacher required from January 2019
* Opportunity to earn a permanent contract following from this initial period.
* Pay in line with MPS/UPS (�22,467- �38,633 per annum)
* The school welcome applications from Maths teachers of all experience levels (NQT’s and experienced Maths teachers)
* Teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Maths teacher to work in a Roman Catholic School with an excellent reputation. Teaching standards within this school are constantly improving and the school are looking to bring in a Maths teacher that can compliment there current Mathematics Department.

Mathematics teachers wishing to be considered for this opportunity will need to have;

* QTS or NQT status in secondary Maths
* Experience teaching Mathematics to KS3, KS4 and GCSE pupils
* Good behaviour management skills, and positive classroom presence

The school is located on the outskirts of Wigan bordering Salford which makes for easy access from surrounding areas; St Helens, Warrington, Leigh and Chorley.
