Teaching Personnel are the UK's leading education recruitment company and cater for schools across the UK. I personally work with SEMH pupils in the Dibden area. The schools I work alongside cater for pupils with Autism, moderate to complex learning difficulties, speech, language and sensory disorders along with social, emotional and mental health needs. I currently have a need for 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support in SEN schools.

The role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant includes:

* Delivering tailored teaching activities to pupils on either a one-to-one basis
* Making sure that the pupil you support is able to engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity
* Supporting the social and emotional development of the pupil, raising any concerns when necessary
* Supporting the teacher in managing challenging pupil behaviour and promoting positive behaviour

We ask that you have:

* Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills - GCSE or equivalent
* Reading, writing and communication skills
* Experience working with children or adults that have additional needs or present challenging behaviour
* Excellent team working skills
* A confident, adaptable and approachable personality
