Are you looking to use your skills and experience in a school environment?

Teaching Personnel are working with a Special Educational Needs Provision in Staines that are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. The school caters for Secondary aged pupils, all of which will have an Education Health Care Plan. The pupils have a variety needs such as:

* Communication and interaction needs
* Autistic spectrum needs
* Social, emotional and mental health difficulties
* ADHD
* ODD
* Conduct Disorder
* ADD

The current vacancy is for a full time long term position supporting pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.

Candidates are required to work 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate would have some of the following:

* Teaching Assistant experience
* Experience working with special educational needs
* Youth support work experience
* A Psychology qualification
* Experience working in a nursery
* Personal experience with special educational needs
* Care work experience
* Experience as a nanny or au pair
* Residential support work experience
* Outreach work experience
* Physical restraint training (e.g. Team Teach)
