Senior Analogue & Digital Electronics engineer designing new products in consumer electronics. You will design PCBs using Altium as well as doing software development in Embedded C for IOT enabled products.

You will be working as a senior member of a mixed discipline design team to develop new products, you will be working with other engineers and non-technical disciplines to deliver products using your expertise in electronics design and embedded software development.

As a senior team member you will be expected to take the technical lead of certain project aspects such as 3rd party management and design architecture.

Key Skills:

* Competent in use of electronic design software (Altium preferred) for schematic capture
* Competent in embedded C programming and SW version control
* Analogue and digital design
* Serial protocol implementation (Wireless preferred)
* Experience working in productionised environments, ideally with experience of DFM (Design for Manufacture)
* Knowledge of PCBA manufacture

Competence in the following areas is highly desirable but not a prerequisite, it is not expected for you to be experienced in all of the following but any experience would be helpful.

* Development of IOT connected products including WiFi, Bluetooth and cloud
* Experience of touch screens and other user interfaces
* Designing for EMC and improving electro-magnetic performance
* Drive of mains powered electric motors (Universal, BLDC etc)
* Knowledge of use of applicable software tools such as, SPICE simulation, GIT, Python for automated test etc.
* International experience managing suppliers
* Safety and EMC compliance requirements for electronic products
