C++ software Team Leader, Leading a small team doing R&D Projects to apply Machine Learning and Data Science Techniques to other well established projects. You will need a strong background in C++ application development, experience leading a team and an interest in Machine learning.

This role will be an even mix of development and leadership activities, including line management and will be working with a team receiving plenty of support and resources, the growth potential in this role is exceptional.

You will be working with a large, well established employer who develop their staff in the long term, provide exceptional training & development and work hard to facilitate their staff to realise their potential.

Essential Skills:

* Experience developing software in C++
* Experience leading teams of software engineers
* Experience developing desktop applications, ideally for the Windows platform.
* Experience working and leading in a quality driven environment.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with the following is not essential but would be advantageous

* Experience with the Machine Learning (ML) tools such as Tensorflow
* Programming experience in Python
* Experience or interest in algorithm development.
* Experience in any of the following technical areas:

Data modelling, Big data, AI, Geometrical mathematics, Non-linear Machine learning techniques, Machine learning for Optimisation problems.


* 27 days annual leave per annum (plus all public holidays).

* Pension Scheme. (max 8% contribution from company matched at a ratio of 2:1)
* Extensive training and development
