The role of the Sales & Business Development Manager will be as follows:

* To co-ordinate all sales activities across the EMEA and Asia region
* To ensure the sales team achieve annual budgets, circa �10m
* Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, the Sales & Business Development Manager will spend 50% of their time managing the sales team and the remaining 50% direct selling
* Your sales activities will require you travel overseas across the EMEA and Asia region (1 week in 4)
* Reporting data, forecasting sales wins and sales performances to the Sales & Marketing Director and MD
* To provide commercial and technical support to the team of Sales Engineers
* To review contractual commitments relating to tenders and contractual documents
* Develop business across the EMEA and Asia region via subsidiaries, rental businesses and end users/OEM's
* To support the sale of all products and to achieve regional and company targets
* Direct management of a customer base - to manage and complete all RFQ's/RFT's and tenders
* To provide technical information and to present solutions to clients face to face
* You will also manage all commercial and technical negotiations throughout the sales cycle

Experience & background required for the role of Sales & Business Development Manager:

* An experienced Sales & Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or Commercial Manager type background
* You must demonstrate strong leadership and management experience
* A track record in working with CapEx solutions such as power generation systems/factory machinery will be highly desirable
* HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical / Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
* You must be willing to travel overseas across the EMEA and Asia region
* You must possess a full EU driving licence
