An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the expanding Positive Behaviour Support team within Care Management Group. 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is already experienced with the specialist area of Positive Behaviour Support, and who has experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism and behaviours that challenge.

Salary is dependent on experience and will be discussed on expression of interest.
Package description 

Main responsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be involved in modelling and leading best practice, completing functional analysis assessments, identifying strategies and appropriate support planning, training small groups of service staff and working with individuals who have learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. Focus is on enhancing the quality of lives of people, and on restriction minimisation and reduction.

This post is full time (37.5 hours per week) and will cover London and surrounding areas.
Ideal candidate
Candidates must hold, or be working towards a formal qualification in: Positive Behaviour Support e.g. PBS BTEC (advanced professional Diploma), Bsc in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Msc in Analysis and Intervention in Learning Disability, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology.

You must have experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, specifically autism and behaviours that challenge, as working as part of the teams that support them is also required.
Candidates must be prepared to complete Physical Intervention Training approved under the British Institute of Learning Disabilities (BILD) accreditation scheme to Instructor level (using CMG’s accredited PASSPORT system).

Being a creative thinker, solution focused, passionate about person centred approaches, with excellent communication skills and willing to be part of a team in a company that holds PBS in its core values will be extremely important, as is a willingness to be ‘hands on’ and role model good practice.
As travel is required, a full driving licence is preferable.
