Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a full time Teaching Assistant to work in a rewarding role with SEN students, commencing ASAP on a long term basis in the Catterick area (DL10). The role involves working in classrooms for Key Stages 3 and 4 with students with ASC and SEMH, you will be confident dealing with challenging behaviour. The school has a heavy focus on sport, music and art and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to get involved in lunch and after school clubs.

A Team Teach qualification is desirable for this role although not mandatory, as the role will consist of working with extremely challenging behaviour. You must be a strong role model, motivated and dedicated to providing outstanding teaching and you will become part of the multi-disciplinary team that the school consists of. The ideal candidate will have:

- At least three months experience working with SEND pupils

- TA Qualification, Level 3 (or relevant experience/degree)

- Excellent behaviour management skills

- A patient and caring attitude
