Are you an experienced Team Leader or Supervisor ready to step up to as an Assistant Manager? If so, our Medirest business has a brand new opportunity for an Assistant Manager join in our well established Costa Store based at the St Richard’s Hospital!

Main responsibilitiesAs the Assistant Manager, you will adhere to the Costa brand standards and ensure that the customer is always at the heart of everything we do, but when it comes to creating unbeatable experiences, there's plenty of room to let your personality flow too.

Being an advocate for the Costa culture, you'll assist in putting your team, customers, and community first and make it your mission to get to know them, understand what makes them tick and perform the little, big and medium-sized acts that leave everyone smiling. This is a hands on role working in a fast paced environment managing a small team, you will get involved in a wide range of tasks which include:

Leading the team on shift to deliver an unbeatable customer experience
Managing the staff rota to ensure there is always staff cover
Manage the stock and order systems for food and consumables ensuring that the store has 100% supply of items for the customer
Understand and monitor the Store KPI report and translate into daily action
Train and coach team members
Assist the Store Manager with recruitment using the official recruitment tools

As our Assistant Manager, you will ensure the success of the Costa Store within the St Richard’s Hospital.

This role is predominantly a Mon-Fri role however will require the occasional weekend work.
Ideal candidateTo be right for us, you will have previous experience within a management capacity either within a coffee, branded restaurant or hospitality environment with knowledge or knowledge of Hygiene, Health & Safety and branded audits. You will be passionate about the brand and have worked within a fast paced and customer facing environment.

You will be a person who is motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery, have sound P&L, financial and commercial acumen.
