Calling all Developers, Programmers and Graduates!

My client who are a very specialist market leading company based in Swansea are looking for driven and innovated individuals to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Analysis Developer to join a company that is recognised throughout industry, who utilise flagship modelling software to advise an international client base.

As a Computational Scientist/Analysis Developer you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of my client's analysis code.

You will also help to enhance the software, define the technical direction and develop new products in line with the company's vision to ensure the capabilities exceed customer requirements.

In order to be a successful Computational Scientist/Analysis Developer you will be able to think creatively, stay abreast of new technologies and have a passion for different types of programming languages.

As a Computational Scientist/Analysis Developer your responsibilities will be to follow a pro-active and zero-defect mindset in the design, development, improvement, maintenance and testing of the companies analysis software code, including:
• Design and implementation of analysis code structures
• Planning, development, execution and reporting of test cases
• Support test activities in the area of test automation
• Optimise test methodologies and infrastructure

Skills/Qualifications
• Degree in Engineering, Computational Science or Applied Mathematics with an experience of Software Development.
• Knowledge of programming for numerical analysis (via FEM, FDM & FVM) and advanced architectures.
• Cross-platform development (Windows/Linux).
• Some knowledge of the following fields would be of advantage (or similar):
o Engineering, software, simulation, 3D graphics
o C or C++
o Parallel Processing
o Fortran
o Microsoft technologies
o Visual Studio
o A source code control system like GiT
