Teaching Personnel are exclusively partnered with a specialist Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) provision based in Basingstoke who is currently seeking Behaviour Learning Support Assistant's to start in January 2019.. The school caters specifically to Secondary aged pupils with a variety of complex needs, including: Anxiety and Self-harm, Disruptive, Antisocial and Uncooperative Behaviour.

The school is currently expanding and is seeking 2 new Teaching Assistants to work with pupils on a small group or 1:1 basis. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with similar needs or be passionate about working in this type of school. This role will require successful candidates to assist pupils with a range of daily tasks, such as: transporting pupils between classes and engaging pupils with education and lesson plans.

The school aim to help our pupils reach their potential to lead a fulfilling and purposeful life, through the provision of personalised, high-quality education with flexible learning pathways. The attending pupils are working to outlined Educational, Health and Care Plans (EHCP); developing emotional and social skills underpins all that we do and we work in partnership with both parents and other agencies to support this.

In addition if you’re interested in gaining new qualifications, Teaching Personnel offer development courses through our CPD Academy; such as Autism Awareness, Safeguarding and Team Teach.
