Carshop is looking for a Smart Repair Technician to join the team at our state of the art preparation facility in Leighton Buzzard. You will be required to repair, paint and maintain a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring prepping and quality checks are completed to an extremely high standard.

The Role

As a SMART Repair Technician, you will be right at the heart of the process. Our cars come in and are inspected and evaluated before being prepared and repaired for imaging and sale. We need you to repair various small and medium imperfections on our cars, so they are ready to be sold.

Ideally, you will hold a relevant qualification but we’re happy if you’re qualified by experience. We’ll run some technical tests just to make sure.

The last thing you’ll need is an eye for safety. We want you to be working in a safe environment, and that requires everyone to take responsibility for a tidy and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Ability to repair a wide range of issues such as cavities, dents, glass repair etc
Preparing vehicles effectively to maximise the quality and finish of work
Ensuring the correct paint is administered to each vehicle
Completing a full wash and polish of each vehicle
Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and on time
Relevant qualifications or significant experience in a similar role
Full UK / EU Driving Licence
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working on a 4 on / 4 off day shift (2002 hours per annum)
