Domiciliary Registered Manager - Telford Manchester

Salary: salary starts at £25,000 + bonus's (Any bonus's would be discussed with the successful applicant) These salaries would depend on level of experience and qualifications, there is also some leeway in the starting salaries depending on the applicant

Experience: Care Manager: 1 year (Required)

Main Purpose: To head all Care Provision, Day to Day Management and Supervision of the Branch.

Responsible to: Area Manager.

Main Duties:

To be responsible for ensuring you remain up-dated, and that you comply, with all relevant legislation relating to the business.

To be principally responsible for Service User's personal care requirements and provide supervision and management direction where needed.

To ensure that all duties undertaken by care and office staff are performed to the required standards and that all staff contribute to the company's efficiency and reputation.

To assist the Business Support Manager to apply the disciplinary rules as laid down and to assist in the implementation of the disciplinary procedures.

To ensure that adequate staff cover is maintained for all shifts and where necessary provide cover for such deficiencies until proper staffing can be implemented.

To be responsible for the efficient implementation of the duty rotas and to oversee their preparation.

To be "on call' on a rotational basis and where necessary provide cover for holiday periods.

To be principally responsible for dealing with Service Users and their relatives/representatives concerning care matters.

To formulate, categorise and maintain the records and systems necessary for the efficient running of the company.

To conduct staff meetings, staff training and development activities in line with my client systems and standards.

To maintain records in line with my client systems and standards.

To conduct interviews of new staff in line with my client systems and Care Quality Commission (CQC) and legislative requirements.

To complete all staff Annual Appraisals

To attend care reviews as required.

To be familiar with the regulations and procedures required in the execution of the above duties and to be the responsible officer for Health and Safety matters.

To ensure that all staff are provided with protective clothing where applicable and ensure that stocks of these goods are adequate.

To ensure that financial records are kept to account for income and expenditure and that Accounting and Banking are carried out efficiently.

To be responsible to the Business Support Manager in all matters relating to the running and trading position of the company.

To collate the wages information for the company and ensure that the information is prepared in time for the payroll run.

To ensure that invoicing and invoicing information collation is carried out in an accurate and professional manner.

To ensure that good relations are maintained between the company and its customers.

Not to act in any way which is detrimental to the Service User, not to perform medical or clinical functions which are invasive to the Service User and at all times, to hold themselves as example to other employed staff.

To undertake other duties necessary to the main purpose of your job.
