Our clients company started life in 1988 as a small Friends of the Earth project. The Group provides total waste management, office supplies, secure data destruction, and food recycling to businesses and the public sector. From their closed-loop recycling solutions, to charity donations; their ethical stance isn't just lip service, it's an integral part of who they are and what they do! Their clients range from facilities management firms at large multi-tenant skyscrapers, to financial institutions, charities and media firms and from SMEs to food service chains.

As an ITAD Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving new business sales within a variety of industries and building on and maintaining long term client relationships. You will have a great head start, with a database of 5,000 clients, of whom 90% do not currently use our ITAD service.

Business Development Executive Responsibilities:

* Selling our clients services to ensure you hit the ambitious but achievable targets they set.
* Placing 80 - 100 calls per day to current and potential clients.
* Targeting their 5,000 existing SME customers
* Targeting new customers in specific areas in London
* Developing relationships for ad-hock and ongoing business

Business Development Executive Requirements:

* 2+ years' experience in ITAD/WEEE disposal or experience within IT Services Sales.
* An interest and understanding of IT and electronics.
* A proven track record within telesales.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to adapt your approach and style to appeal to a range of people.
* Great listening skills with the aptitude to understand and take on board the issues potential customers face and present them with the correct solution.
* Confidence when talking to new people and forming relationships.
* Knowledge of CRM and Sales Platforms
* Ability to be highly autonomous and self-motivated with a genuine passion to aim high and achieve the best results.
* Part of our Company Policy prerequisite is to be Security Screened to BS7858. For this we will need a 5-year living and working history with no employment gaps (Education and jobcentre history is fine).
