Main responsibilitiesAs our Head of Sales and Events Manager, you will develop and lead future sales opportunities including the conversion and retention of special event bids, working alongside the Commercial teams at Olympia. You will have the following responsibilities:

To inspire exceptional service to our clients and guests through the Levy Difference by management of the Catering Sales and Events Team of Levy UK
To build, manage and lead a strong effective Sales and Events team
Management of all costs associated with Catering S&E  team
Work closely with the Catering S&E  team to maximize every upselling opportunity pre-event and during events
To facilitate sales, client and contractual relationships ensuring that we are true partners in their business
Work with the General Manager to focus on understanding the business challenges for the Catering areas and to ensure the continual development of the client partnership
Execute business tactics as identified in annual marketing plan
Maintains a strong relationship with client during coordination, execution and evaluation stages of services.
To review business performance and ensure the delivery of key financial targets through the Catering Accounts team to ensure commercial sound, competitive and profitable financial deals are approved via internal procedures
To demonstrate full alignment to our Levy Restaurants visions and values by doing the right things and celebrating success
Implementing and adhering to performance standards as listed in the Core Signature guidelines
Proactively working with the top clients, creating great working relationships and working 6-12 months in advance

Ideal candidateTo be right for us, you will have extensive retail operational experience gained within a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will have worked within a C&E/F&B environment with strong knowledge of the London market. You will have experience, knowledge and skills within the following areas:

Complex C&E / F&B management background
London market experience
Boutique / edgy hotel experience
Experience of working with a client group
High degree of IT proficiency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead others
Engaging, enthusiastic and motivated
Able to influence and operate at all stakeholder levels
Ability to support and drive change with effective project and stakeholder management skills
