This company is one of the leading Tier 1 Automotive Powertrain specialist within the development of Powertrain Systems with Internal Combustion Engines as well as instrumentation and test systems.

As part of their continued growth they seek to find a Technical Sales Engineer – Electrification to join their team in Worcestershire on a permanent basis.

As Technical Sales Engineer - Electrification you will need to understand in detail the technical aspect of the systems portfolio for Business Units Electrification. To support and present these to clients as well as internally. To prepare the most appropriate technical solution for client's needs or request.

Skills Required:

* Experience within a technical sales enivronment for customers in industrial, automotive or allied industries.
* Technical experience and detailed knowledge of at least two of the following:
* Inverter technology (3-phase) – development, testing and/or integration into systems.
* Application of 3-phase electric machines and motor control software.
* Design, installation and use of electrical power systems above 30kW, including power converters, motors, generators, batteries, etc.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office & generally IT literate.

Responsibilities:

* Produce technical solutions and system schematic drawings for Electrification testing, as required to support the bidding process.
* Prepare Handover Information for the Order Fulfilment organisation for successful quotes
* Develop and maintain a level of technical expertise within the company systems and products
* Create quotations and to make presentations to support the sales process, using enterprise-wide tools such as Salesforce.
* Develop and maintain regular harmonious relations with colleagues throughout the group and with company’s potential, past and present customers
* Comply with all Quality Assurance and Environmental Protection procedures pertinent to the proposed solution
* Work proactively to find ways by which the process and products can be improved.
* Travel within the client sites and customer sites as is reasonably required to achieve the targets set for the role
* Carry out any other duties as reasonably required commensurate with the nature of the job and level of responsibility.
