DESIGNTECH36

Are you a Teacher of Design Technology with a specialism in Resistant Materials?

Are you currently available to start work in the Worthing Area?

If so this may be the role for you.

The school is a larger than average school with approximately 1200 pupils on roll. The school has been graded as a 'Good' school in all areas by Ofsted. Although the candidate should be experienced working within a Design Technology department, the school requires a Teacher with experience teaching Resistant Materials to GCSE.

The need for a Design Technology Teacher has come about due to an unplanned absence.

Although the position is initially temporary the school is potentially looking to expand the department from September 2019 due to rising pupil numbers. The Head Teacher is keen to consider the successful candidate for a potential permanent role later on in the new academic year. Therefore this is a perfect way to get your foot in the door in a “Good” school.

The Worthing based school would be happy to consider both NQT's and experienced Technology Teachers. The school is looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Resistant Materials curriculum who would be confident planning and teaching high quality lessons to a variety of pupil abilities and backgrounds.

A successful candidate will benefit from the following:

* Supportive department and Senior Leadership Team

* Potential for a permanent position for a suitable candidate

* Excellent school location with good transport links
