The Company and the Role:
Amazing Digital Marketing Consultant opportunity in an established, B2B sales team. This permanent vacancy is field based covering London and Hertfordshire offering great career and earning potential.
You will be working for one of the largest multi-media companies in the UK, offering expert digital marketing advice in this growing market place, helping local businesses generate awareness, promote their products and services to local audiences, and generate leads and revenue.
Working with local and professional commercial teams, you will be selling a range of multimedia (marketing and communication) solutions, advising on copywriting, copy presentation, advertisement design and campaign planning as well as collecting and processing all advertisement copy, liaising with all external and internal stakeholders.
You will be selling digital based advertising products that you have assessed to be the best fit to your customer's and their brand needs.
You will build realistic advertising campaign plan around budgets, features and benefits to the client, rather than burning through their budget in one hit, consulting with the customer to give them the best advice, through high levels of customer service and excellence.

Key Features of the Role:
As a Digital Marketing Consultant, you will be in a customer-facing, field-based sales role that involves prospecting, consulting and closing new business proposals to clients across an award-winning suite of best-in-class digital marketing services, including media advertising products, Search, Social, Website builds, SEO, etc.
Working closely with a dedicated marketing expert to retain their clients and help grow total monthly revenues.
From your first day you will be leading conversations with new and prospective customers, in order to create compelling digital marketing proposals, to help them meet their needs.
You will be consultative in your approach and be seen by your clients as an industry 'guru', as someone who can help them navigate the complex world of digital marketing, not just someone who will burn through whatever budget they have for your own personal gain.
The role will have a heavy element of sourcing and qualifying leads, setting appointments through referrals from the local sales teams or self-prospecting, and preparing compelling propositions to deliver to customers.
Using your sales expertise to eliminate objections, set realistic expectations with clients and steer the sales process through to contract signature.
Assisting with transitioning of the client to post-sales service, and account management teams.
Reporting into your local management and oversight stakeholder, to assess prospecting, pipeline, active campaigns and campaign assessment, as part of your compliance and audit procedures.

Knowledge and Skills:
As a field based Digital Marketing Consultant you will need to be an excellent communicator, confident, enthusiastic and target orientated, as well as having experience building excellent client relationships.
Previous B2B digital and or digital marketing sales experience and knowledge is essential, or similar overlapping marketing, advertising, solution selling consultancy, or business development experience will be considered.
You must have an outstanding track record of delivering new revenues and clients in a field based B2B environment.
