The Account Manager will sit within the clients Paid Search team, and will be responsible for leading and managing the execution of EMEA Paid Search (PPC, Google Shopping, Display and YouTube activity) ensuring that all client needs are met on time, to budget and to the highest standards of service. Reporting into the PPC Account Director, you will be responsible for both the strategic development of your client’s account and organisation of your team. The role will involve Global co-ordination of Paid Search activation between regions, whilst working alongside the Global Search Team and Regional Search teams to ensure high-quality service and digital solutions. You will directly line manage an Account Executive with aspirations to grow the team, and be responsible for overseeing the quality of their work, career development and training needs.


* Establish an understanding of all areas of the agency expertise and the products/services the agency can provide to the clients
* Contribute in developing new products and ways of working that improve SEM results
* Develop an understanding of the various digital media channels (display, affiliates, social media) and the role of SEM
* Participate in and learn about social marketing and the impact for their clients
* Keep up to date with and lead the testing of new SEM products, including advanced features and beta trials for Google AdWords, as well utilizing the full range of features in third party tracking tools such as Adobe Media Optimiser, DoubleClick and Kenshoo.

* Lead the day-to-day client relationship, campaign or project development and execution
* Build an understanding of the client’s business and digital marketing objectives, and develop
* Develop the skills and knowledge of the Account Executive through mentoring, supervision and providing feedback on performance
* Delegate the appropriate tasks and the appropriate amount of tasks to ensure an acceptable workload
* Identify opportunities for Account Executive to take ownership of tasks or projects to develop and grow


� Needs to have solid search marketing experience, responsible for planning and achieving performance related targets
� Experience managing large budgets and delivering strong results from e-commerce campaigns for large retailers
� Experience running Google Shopping (PLA) campaigns, preferably with extensive product inventories
� Have driven e-commerce performance using third party bid-management tools eg. Adobe Media Optimiser, Kenshoo and Doubleclick
� Experience managing PPC campaigns across multi-account MCCs
� Strong client-facing skills: understanding client needs, maintaining relationships, building partnerships
