Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities:

- Efficient and correct to specification Mechanical assembly, hydraulic installation, electrical wiring, and fabrication / fitting operations, linked to the manufacture, service and repair of access platforms.
- Competent build inspection of all stages and materials used. Full compliance with ISO 9001 procedures.
- Effective and efficient value-added organisation and control of all allocated operations. Full flexibility, including being training and training others to enable all manufacturing operations by all to be completed across the company.
- Compliance with health and safety standards, flexibility, and development of skills through the complete manufacturing process, and the production / product cells.
- Maintaining and developing accurate systems and procedures. Ensuring engineering masters and works orders accurately reflect the approved parts consumed
- Maintaining a high standard of 5's workplace organisation. Continuous improvement / elimination of waste, through 'Lean Manufacturing techniques / tools'.
- Working as a team to achieve customer quality, delivery, cost and innovation requirements. Striving to meet performance requirements for accidents / incidents, internal quality defects, cell productivity / utilisation, overall stock accuracy and WIP (flow line adherence).
- Ensuring company procedures are complied with.

The ideal Manufacturing Technician:

- Proven hands on experience in a similar Assembly or Mechanical role;
- Experience in Manufacturing Background;
- Ability to read, write and communicate at all levels in English;
- Flexible approach to working hours

In return for your appreciated work as a Manufacturing Technician you can expect the following excellent benefits:

- Basic Annual Earnings Approx. £24,500 - £26,500 (inclusive of performance bonus);
- Calculated as an hourly rate of £9.78 - £10.82 per hour x 40 hours per week x 52 weeks;
- Business Performance Bonus Approx. £4,200 per annum (calculated weekly, paid monthy - i,e. approx. £350 - 400 per Month);
- Contracted hours 08.00 - 16.30 Mon - Fri, however flexible approach to working 06.00 - 17.30 Mon - Fri, 06.00 - 13.00 Saturday;
- Overtime paid at 1.5 rate and 2.0 rate after 4 hours worked at 1.5;
- Profit related bonus. (For indication only, £500 based on recent average);
- 25 days holiday (increases with service). + Bank Holidays;
- Health cover scheme. (Additional Membership available for Partners at a cost to employee and Kids membership included for free)
- 4% contributory pension
- Life insurance scheme.
