What will the placement involve?Within BC&I, our System Testing Team use robust processes to provide stakeholders with the relevant information in order that they are confident in the quality of the software delivery, thereby enabling user acceptance of the delivered product.The purpose of this role is to provide testing for systems and solutions used both internally within the Society and externally for our customers. You will work collaboratively with other members of the wider change delivery team to deliver large and small scale projects alike.You will be required to accurately test systems and perform analysis on business requirements; and you will then document outputs, record results, identify defects, and communicate these back to software developers so they can be fixed.Working as part of a vibrant team consisting of Developers, Testers, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Architects, you will be responsible for helping drive the Society forward in the ever evolving technology arena; but you will also work with people across the Society on larger scale, complex and strategic transformation projects. Ideal CandidateYou’ll need to be on a ‘sandwich’ degree from any discipline and available to work at our head office in the historic town of Skipton.
