Job IntroductionWe’re looking for an accountant who’s as good with people as they are with data. This is a great opportunity for a qualified accountant from a finance, risk or audit background, to help our Capital Reporting team provide analysis and reports on capital and regulatory information.Main ResponsibilitiesOn a practical level, you’ll be gathering data from across the business and making sense of it from a financial risk perspective using your analytical expertise. The reports you produce will be scrutinised at the most senior level and will inform key strategic decisions, which means you’ll have a real influence over the direction of the business. Developing and nurturing relationships with colleagues from across the organisation will be an important part of this role. That’s where your softer skills will come in. Satisfying monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deadlines requires this role to work effectively with key stakeholders across the business to ensure that the information required is received accurately and on time.  Ideal CandidateA qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who has worked in a finance, risk or audit environment and is good on Excel. Add to that a working knowledge of how data feeds into business strategies and what it’s like to work within a controlled framework, and we might have found our ideal candidate.We’d love to learn as much from you as you could learn from us,so we won’t be offended if you question the way we do things.
